Simran Lal and Raul Rai launched it in March 2016 under Eicher Good Earth, the family company behind the luxury design house Good Earth. Where Good Earth leans ornate and craft-heavy, Nicobar aims at everyday wear and gifting for a younger, travel-minded customer. Within two years of launch the brand had grown to nine stores across seven Indian cities, alongside its online store.
