Strictly necessary

• wss_visitor — a random, anonymous visitor ID. Lets us dedupe view counts and stop one browser double-liking a story. Valid for ~1 year. Holds no personal data.
• next-auth.session-token — only set if you log in to the editorial admin.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies (typically _ga,_ga_*). Refer to Google’s policy for details and a way to opt out.

You can refuse cookies in your browser; the site will still work, but a like or view from your browser may be counted twice.
